The United Nations General Assembly has decided to declare October 2 - the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi — as ‘International Day of Non-Violence’. Now the Mahatma belongs to the whole of Humanity, officially.

A staggering total of 114 countries have announced that they intend to celebrate international day of non-violence on Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday.

Let's follow footsteps of the bravest, who dared to differ.. Remembering the legacy of the man, who believed in the truth, that lies within souls - Essense of Life.

One of his thought was - It is far better to forgive and forget than to hate and remember. It is just beautiful to the soul. The kindest people are those who forgive and forget. Let us also remember that we cannot overcome evil with evil. We must respond to evil acts against us with love and forgiveness. We must never submit to the god of revenge and practice retaliation.
